This lovely Spaniel is 8 yrs old and has been dumped.

He is a dear boy but has clearly not had a great life!

 

He has gone to temporary emergency foster for us today but we need to find an alternative as this is just for a week.

He is not yet neutered - this will be booked asap. 

Not yet cat tested or small child tested

We will update with as much information as possible in the next couple of days but he is dog friendly though very scared of all new to him and of strangers at the moment. It takes seconds for him to suss you are not a threat and then is happy to have a fuss.

He is a really sweet loving affectionate older chap who, through no fault of his own, is clearly feeling very confused - if you think you might be able to offer a long-term foster, or even his forever home, please complete an application form...

Max is 8 yrs old and has clearly NOT had a great life previously. He has been in emergency foster for us and needs to find a new foster or (better still) forever home by 23rd Oct latest please.

Max is a nervous boy who is starting to come out of his shell a little but still needs time and patience.

We feel he would ideally like a home with a calm and balanced female dog and not too much going on in and around the home ... no children as we have not assessed with them nor cats please.

We feel a lovely rural home would suit best as he seems to have not seen much in his life.

He is a dear dog who once he trusts will be fabulous but needs time. He is fully house trained so maybe lived in a home but not walked?

He is microchipped but the numbers on the chip are both not in operation.

Please consider helping this boy as I don't want to put him back into a kennel if I can help
